Actual letters from friends and parents of students.Bev,
I just wanted to let you know that Cooper ( age 4) fell in my mom's pool today. 51 degree water and he did everything you taught him! Caleb came inside (nice and calm) and told us Cooper was in the pool. Cooper was cold and I am sure he was a little scared, but he after diving down to get the shoe that came off he said he was making his way to the deep end step.
So THANK YOU!

It was the best money we ever spent.

In July, my family and I gathered at the Frio River for a reunion. We stopped by the river to check out where we would put in our rafts as we planned to float the river the next day . My 3 year old son went to look at the water with my adult cousin. The sides were calm, although the water had a strong current in the middle. I looked away for a second and looked back and my son Justin was just gone. He was nowhere in sight. I saw my cousin trying to run across the bridge. to get to the other side and rescue him. Just at the moment of extreme panic as I was racing to join her, Justin came to the surface>>>> floating on his back. Just as he had been taught to do. After floating down the river awhile, he turned over and swam a bit and found a rock near the bank and got out. My cousin had just arrived to the opposite side of the river by then.
Since I have a backyard pool, I thought it was a great idea to enroll Justin and eventually all my other kids in these lessons. I had no idea however, that he would need these skills in any other place but our backyard. I am so grateful for the survival skills he learned and to Bev Steinfink for having taught him these truly lifesaving skills.

I have 3 children, ages 8, 4, and 3, all taught to swim by Bev Steinfink. My 8 yr old swims like a fish and has since the age of 2 1/2, not long after starting Bev's class. She has been a member of the Texas Instruments Swim Team and the McKinney Sea Lions Swim Team. The 4 yr old is now learning stroke development and my 3 yr old is certainly to the point of being able to save himself should he fall in the water.
Every summer our family travels to Padre Island for a vacation and we never fail to receive compliments from other parents on our children's swimming prowess. Our pride and peace of mind have always been well worth the frequent 35 mile drives from McKinney, Texas down to Dallas. I cannot more highly recommend Bev's teaching methods and skills for any child.
