Actual letters from friends and parents of students. To Whom It May Concern:
Lea is an exceptional swim instructor and I would highly recommend her swim school, Aloha Infant Aquatics, to any parent interested in having their child learn to swim and to be water safe. My daughter, age six, had to be talked into attending swim lessons due to previous experience prior to meeting Miss Lea. After two lessons she was doing a great job and most of all she just loved it. Miss Lea also started teaching my son at age four. He is now swimming so well. He loves the water and eagerly awaits his swimming lessons. Lea is a professional and creates a pleasant atmosphere for the children to learn and have fun while doing it. Lea has excellent skills and teaching methods for children of all ages. I know because of her, my children will be safe in the water and will enjoy swimming for the rest of their lives.
I also want to share an incident which happened to my son while on vacation this summer. As I mentioned he is four and was sitting on a big rock by a cold lake trying to fish. When he stood up, he slipped and feel into very cold water. Before I could even get to him, he had righted himself onto his back and then swam to the edge and we helped him out. He was cold but he took it in stride and was not fearful. I know if this had happened a year ago prior to his lessons with Miss Lea, the outcome would have been very different. We will also be grateful for the lessons he learned in not only swimming, but in survival with Miss Lea.

To Whom It May Concern:
I am the mother of three boys ages 3, 7, and 9. We have been attending swim lessons with Lea Holst for the past few weeks. As with anything foreign to children, they were a little leery at first of this method of learning. My three year old shed tears the first day and I was thinking to myself "UH OH". Lea did not give up on him and he is now able to swim with his head under was and float on his back when he needs air.
My 7 year old has a low level autism diagnosis and before we began I spoke with Lea regarding this condition. My biggest concern was that he would not enjoy the lessons and refuse to go. He does not do well in large groups, but I thought since there was a four to one ratio we might be fine. After working with him the first day, Lea brought in an additional instructor just to work with Jacob. Mr. Kevin can do no wrong in my sons eyes and I cannot believe how far he has come in such a short period of time.
My 9 year old son had attended on session of swimming lessons years ago through the YMCA. He is my athlete and took to the water just fine. I am so thankful for this experience for him, at an older age, to be learning to swim with this more effective method of teaching. He is now swimming and has a great understanding of the different styles of strokes to get him from one side of the pool to the other.
I have been praising this method of teaching to all my friends in the area with children. It is so comforting as a mother to know your children have an understanding of the water, without fear, and what they can do to help themselves if they get into a situation the is out of their control. All three of my kids know ho to rest in their "starfish" position and get themselves back to safe ground. I commend Ms. Holst and her staff at Aloha Infant Aquatics and will continue in the future with this wonderful method of learning.
Sincerely yours,
