Actual letters from friends and parents of students.

Dear Liz Walker,

I just wanted to write you a quick letter to tell you how impressed I was with your summer Fast Track program. My daughter, Ellie, is two years old and absolutely loved going to lessons everyday. She made so much progress in such a short time. Before she started Fast Track she loved swimming, but hated to float on her back. She would cry every time she had to do it. A few days into Fast Track she was swimming out to the instructor and turning on her own into a float!

I was also very impressed with your ability to train new teachers. The transition between you and the person that you were training was very smooth. My daughter had no problems switching between teachers during the training process; in fact I think that she enjoyed the variety.

Thank you again for your dedication to helping children learn a skill that helps them feel confident in a situation that could be intimidating. There is nothing more fulfilling as a parent then watching your child succeed in something that is good for them.

Sincerely,
Tori Easton

Dear Swimkids,

We are the parents of six children. Water has always been an important part of our summer recreation as a family. We have spent many weeks on a houseboat on Lake Powell as well as water skiing, fishing and just relaxing around the swimming pool at a resort. Our children have all learned basic water survival skills through the Swim Kids program. Fortunately, we have never had to deal with a near drowning experience. I am of the opinion that at a young age our children developed a healthy respect for water. This in turn did away with the idle curiosity that many children have for water. Swimkids gave our children confidence and skill, but we never let our guard down and always provided supervision while the kids were in the water.

As they grew older, they had confidence in the water, which helped them acquire advanced swimming skills. It also gave them an advantage as they began competitive swimming. We are now into the next generation. The grandkids are learning water safety through the Swimkids program. We admit there is an element of pride that goes along with being on vacation and watching the kids at a young age navigate a swimming pool. You can always count on more than a few comments like, "Where did that kid learn to swim? She is so young." As grandparents, we feel Swim Kids has been a real investment in safety skill building for our family.

Thank you,
Mont and Kris Millerberg
